St Ninians was treated to a switching on of the lights for our very first Christmas tree. Thanks to Jimmy’s persistence and the kind support of our Councillors Gerry McLaughlan, Willie Ferguson and Josh Fyvie, the tree was erected at the toll with the lights officially switched on the 16th. Members of the community gathered at the library for a hot chocolate and mince pies followed by a lantern parade to the tree where young Saul Sinclair-Graham was selected to turn on the lights. Afterwards, Jimmy and Lena treated us all to some homemade soup and rolls at Black’s Newsagents.
